The Friends have been informed that work to repair the external aspects of the Croft building in Fletcher Moss Park will start in mid April this year. In late March the site will be prepared for scaffolding. The car park and cafe and all entrances will be open to visitors as normal. However, there may be some restrictions around the immediate vicinity of the building. The work is expected to last for approximately 21 weeks and will make this important building weatherproof and ready for internal works to adjust its usage from a domestic dwelling. Representatives of the Friends meet regularly with Council Officers and Councillor Andrew Simcock to discuss such measures.
